. Ivannia Zambrana Ríos................................Gallery 3 Ivannia Rios is 25 years old and is the youngest one in the original group. She received her high school diploma after completing correspondence course, which she funded partially with her painting sales. When the group started, Ivannia had taken more drawing classes previously than anyone in the group. Her paintings are a little more sophisticated and less naive, or primitive, than the others. As Ivannia says" What I most like about painting is texture. I'm looking all around to see things to put in my pictures. I also imagine places I want to be. A painting doesn't have to be about the way things are, it can be about the way we want them to be." "A mi me gusta pintar mucho porque demuestro mi arte, mis sueños vivencias y la cultura de mi país; me gusta también porque comparto mis obras con otras personas de otros lugares y países ya que me satisface y me siento muy feliz pintando y creando nuevas cosas." "I really like to paint because I show my art, my actual dreams and my country’s culture; I also like it because I share my work with other people from other places and countries and that makes me feel good and I am very happy painting and creating new things." .
